The Forensics Investigations Network in Digital Sciences (FINDS) conducts research and education programs to enhance the nation's defense agility in responding to modern cyber attacks by training workforce and building solutions to improve the resiliency of the nation’s critical infrastructures and the businesses.
FINDS is funded by a 2.25 million five-year grant from the Department of Defense. It was founded by Florida International University with collaborators from several HBCU/MSI universities including Grambling State University, Jackson State University, and Florida A&M University.
With an emphasis on outputs-oriented research, education and workforce development, FINDS will explore the organizational, business, and technical dimensions of critical cyber-infrastructure and digital assets. A significant focus of the FINDS will be on disseminating research outputs to the broader community through research publications and participation of minority students and faculty in top-tier conferences. The research outputs of the FINDS' projects can be used by any DoD agency, end users, policymakers, decision makers across all levels of industry and government, and community leaders.
